Synergetic Computing Systems

SYCS is a Copenhagen-headquartered fabless chip company, which has developed and patented an innovative new true multi-processor chip architecture/technology solution called the “SYNPUTER,” which addresses multiple future high-end computing challenges.
The new architecture principles are based on a pure MIMD (Multiple Instructions – Multiple Data) parallel multi-processor architecture. In addition to instruction level parallelism, the SYNPUTER also allows thread- and process parallelism. Thus a very high degree of efficiency is achieved by synergetic interaction between the CPU’s, hence the name SYNPUTER. SYCS will target SYNPUTER for DSP intensive applications like base stations where it due to its MIMD capabilities will be able to replace traditional heterogeneous multi processor systems with a homogenous, easy programmable SoC core.
